Today's resource is from Glencoe Online: Teaching Today. I have used this website before for resources, materials, and lesson ideas to use in my classroom when I taught middle school (see Middle School Resources). It also has great stuff under Subject-Specific Resources for information in Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. There are lesson materials galore (!!) on this site that I hope you will find helpful. But the best resource for beginning teachers is the Weekly Tips section. Every week there are new tips posted to try out with your students that make you think: Why didn't I try this before?!
Sometimes, simple suggestions from others can be the spark your need to try something new!
